The Nexus Strategic Flywheel.

Five phases, run the same way every time. Published in full, on purpose: the method was never the thing you were paying for.

STRATEGICFLYWHEEL1DIAGNOSE2DEFINE3DESIGN4DEPLOY5DRIVE

A flywheel is heavy to start, then it carries itself. Strategy in an industrial business behaves the same way. The hard part is the first ninety days.

Each phase uses the one before it and produces a named deliverable you own. It is called Deploy, not Deliver, because we are still in the building.

What each phase does.

In order, with what you hold at the end of each one.

Diagnose: Current State Audit

Two weeks before day 1

Site walk, leadership and supervisor interviews, three years of financials against sector benchmarks, scored across eight dimensions.

What you get

A Current State Scorecard, a Priority Issue Map and a benchmark comparison.

Why it matters

A questionnaire can benchmark you. It cannot tell you which of your three foremen is the bottleneck. Two weeks on site can.

Define: Strategy Blueprint

Days 1–3

Built with your leadership team, not presented to it. Three to five objectives, each with a metric, an owner and a date.

What you get

A one-page Strategic Blueprint and a one-page version for the floor.

Why it matters

One page your team uses every week beats a document nobody opens.

Design: 90-Day Sprint Plan

Days 4–7

A thirteen-week plan where every initiative has an owner, a deadline, a resource requirement and a success metric, tested against the resources that actually exist.

What you get

A Sprint Board for the ops-office wall, initiative sheets, a resource matrix and a risk register.

Why it matters

The resource check is the step most plans skip. In our experience it is why most plans stall by week six.

Deploy: Execution and accountability

Weeks 2–12

A weekly accountability meeting, a live tracker your team updates, blockers escalated and removed, and a mid-sprint review at day 45.

What you get

Weekly cadence, mid-sprint review, progress bulletins.

Why it matters

This is the part most advisers leave out. It is also where part of our fee is at risk.

Drive: Handover and next round

Day 90, then quarterly if retained

A retrospective against plan, outcomes written into the benchmark data, priorities recalibrated, and the next 90 days designed off what was learned.

What you get

A Sprint Close Report, updated priorities and a plan for the next round.

Why it matters

Phase 5 feeds Phase 1, so each round starts with more evidence than the last.

Why we publish it.

A straight answer.

Hiding it protects nothing

Any competent operator can rebuild a five-phase framework from one proposal. A hidden method is one nobody can ask for by name.

Execution is what you pay for

The fee buys the ninety days we spend in your business, not the diagram.

The evidence compounds

Each round adds anonymised outcome data to our sector benchmarks. That cannot be copied off a website.

See where your business sits on the wheel.

Eight questions, three minutes, and a scoped starting point at the end.
